I have a confession. I love to organize and rearrange things. I also love decorating ideas and crafts. I have spent most of the weekend working on things to improve my townhouse and working on my bucket list. I get great joy from organizing things, completing things, checking off lists and other 'A-type' personality things. I blame it on my genetics as my mom is always giving into the organization and decor habit. My dad too (but he has OCD so that's another story). My mom commented that her and my aunt would often come home to find my grandmother rearranging everything in the house. Its in my genes (but not my brothers!)
Back on track, I finally got my couch and now my livingroom is a little more complete :) I like the way its shaping up, though it does need more pictures for sure. I also went window shopping at places like Target, TJ Maxx and the likes to find more nifty storage ideas for in the future (when I have more money). I alos love goodwill and recently got a craft cabinet for only $20 there. Woohoo!
Since I have a lot of ideas, my pinterest has been quickly growing. Since I now have a couch, here are my next 10 big projects
Next up....

1-Figuring out a way to store notebooks/folders for class notes, lesson plans etc.

2-Replace my french door curtains. Trust me, they're awful...I'll post pictures later, be warned.

3-Spice rack/shelf to free up space in my cabinets

4-Better organization of my craft supplies

5-Shoe organizer (I have too many jeans/dress pants, cardigan/jackets for one closet let alone shoes!)

6-More wall decor (my walls are lonely looking)

7-Start on butterfly and cherry blossom theme in bathrooms (one in each)

8-Pantry/better food organization

9-Start the organization of my 'Harry Potter Closet'

10-Organization baskets
Now if only money would magically reappear to do all these things. Thought then all the fun would be taken out!
Do you have any home/apartment projects?

I just went on a "shopping spree" at Amazon.com.......had $120 in GCs built up......got a new crock pot, a small leather "shag" rug for my computer room (the floors get sooo cold), an "ergo" can opener, and some other "organizational stuff for the kitchen....can't wait to get the stuff to get working on "reorganization!"
Good luck with all your projects!
I do need to weed through my clothes though. And do some kind of organizing in my craft room.
I like the IDEA of organization and storage but lack funds for most of it, and the "get up and go" to actually get started on the rest.
We've also been working on a remodel of our house. We tore out some walls and put up new ones in the basement, to make a bedroom with a walk in closet down there, while leaving office and storage space. Upstairs, so far we have just painted, but we are ripping out Elliott's bedroom closet this weekend, and painting in there. That should be the last of the remodel, but we still need to buy a few new pieces of furniture for him as well, since we are getting rid of his closet.
I have a bunch of things I want to do around here. It's slowly coming together.
