My 5+ Year History/Rewards With A Survey Site...

I posted a couple weeks ago about this site closing (merging, same thing, imo) Another Survey Site Bites The Dust, and I just cashed out to avoid my pts. being transferred next month. I joined the site in December, 2007, so just over 5 years. The Etta James, At Last! album is my most recent cash-out, along with my previous goodies I've acquired from my participation with PermissionResearch & the nearly 15,000 pts. I earned. So what do you think, was it worth the 5+ years investment???

I've had terrible luck with surveys and I've given them up as a waste of time. Most are boring if I qualify, and I waste a lot of time trying to qualify.

I found that the value of my opinions dropped with my last b'day, so much for being a Baby Boomer! That may be changing in the near future, as Baby Boomer #'s increase significantly. By 2015, BB's are expected to rise to 45% of the U.S. population~think they'll be listening to us by then!

Probably not, when you consider the value of it all is under $100~however, it did feel good to cash out & when the mail came!

I can only guess that came from a 3rd party survey site~sites that provide links to legit survey sites, but also try to sell you the moon & the stars! Legit survey/market research sites do not sell ANYthing, they don't advertise, their only business is based on consumer opinions. And, probably because of that, many online sites have had to merge in recent years, AND, partly because of the bad rap they get from all the pseudo survey sites out there.

Looking at what you got in the last 5 years, my first instinct is to say it wasn't worth it. Since I don't know how much time you devoted to site each week, I really can't say one way or the other.
